Marielena Maggio was appointed the new director of International Student Services at Case Western Reserve University.
Maggio, formerly the assistant director of programs and advising, is responsible for enhancing the international student experience and promoting intercultural exchange.
She will oversee the coordination of a full range of services offered to the more than 1,700 non-immigration students at Case Western Reserve.
She also will implement a variety of programs and activities that foster the social/cultural adjustment of international students, representing their interests and calling attention to their many contributions.
