CWRU student becomes 400,000th member of Alpha Phi Omega

Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity initiated a Case Western Reserve University student as its 400,000th member since its founding in 1925—Melinda Ashe, a sophomore majoring in psychology, cognitive science and economics. Ashe, the chapter secretary, was initiated last semester.

Bob London, the national executive director of Alpha Phi Omega, attended the chapter meeting Feb. 27 to congratulate the students on the honor. In addition, Glenn Nichols, vice president for student affairs, and Divya Aggarwal, president of Undergraduate Student Government, attended to express their congratulations to the chapter.
