CWRU named a “Cool School” for its sustainability programs

Sierra Magazine named Case Western Reserve University a “Cool School,” for the university’s sustainability programs.

Case Western Reserve was ranked 94 out of 239. The magazine is the official publication of the Sierra Club.

In ranking the schools, the magazine considered a variety of criteria when determining a school’s score, including student sustainability programs, transportation, waste management and more.

Sierra Magazine worked in collaboration with Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education.
