Members of the Center for Civic Engagement and Learning’s alternative spring break trip to Nicaragua will collect school supplies (crayons, notebooks, pencils), sports equipment (baseballs, deflated soccer balls, mitts) and monetary donations from Tuesday, March 5, to Thursday, March 7, in the Nord Hall atrium from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Donations will be distributed by Waves of Hope, a nonprofit organization that facilitates educational and community development projects in the Nicaragua town where Case Western Reserve University students have volunteered since 2010.
