Educational Services for Students will offer a seminar titled “Navigating Vocabulary and Reading Skills for Academic Success at the American University” during spring semester.
Students will build their vocabulary by exploring new phrases, idioms, slang and pragmatics surrounding words from different aspects of U.S. culture.
The seminar will be held Jan. 17-May 1. Students can pick between two sessions: Mondays from 12:45 to 2 p.m. or Wednesdays from 1 to 2:15 p.m.
Students may self-register for the class, UNIV 103, through the Student Information System.
