Benelect Open Enrollment kits sent to benefits-eligible employees

Benelect Open Enrollment kits have been sent via campus mail to benefits-eligible faculty and staff and should arrive this week. The packets contain the 2017 Benelect guide, a summary of Benelect changes for 2017, the 2017 price sheets and instructions for making your elections in the online enrollment system.

Packet materials are also available through the 2017 Open Enrollment web page at case.edu/finadmin/humres/benefits/2017.oe.html.

The 2017 Benelect open enrollment period runs Nov. 7-30. The Benefits Fair will take place Wednesday, Nov. 9, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursday, Nov. 10, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Tinkham Veale University Center ballroom. All benefits-eligible university employees are encouraged to attend.

The Department of Human Resources will offer free flu shots to faculty and staff during the Benefits Fair. No appointments are necessary. Employees will need to present their Case Western Reserve ID cards when checking in. This will be the last opportunity to receive your flu vaccination on campus.

Employees currently enrolled in the Anthem medical plan will have the opportunity to obtain a Starbucks Gift card by registering for the LiveHealth Online service. Present your Anthem ID card to the Anthem representative at the Benefits Fair and they will help you register for the site. If you prefer, you can pre-register before coming to the fair. Download the LiveHealthOnline mobile app, available free on the App Store for Apple and Google Play store for Android or pre-register at livehealthonline.com. The $5 Starbucks gift cards are available to anyone that shows the LiveHealth Online welcome screen after logging into the app or provides their confirmation email, which is received after registering.
