English Graduate Student Association to host Murder Mystery Gala for all students

Join the English Graduate Student Association for a night of mayhem, mystery and red carpet glamour at the inaugural Murder Mystery Gala on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Alumni House.

The murder mystery, created by Night of Mystery, begins at an A-list after-party following a night of accolades at the Academy Awards. While socializing and schmoozing with Hollywood’s elite, careers will be made, secrets will be revealed, scandals will be broken and a homicide will happen. With the celebrities all suspects, attendees will be called upon to find the criminal.

Attendees can get their photos snapped by the paparazzi along the red carpet, enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres and movie-theater popcorn, mingle at the bar and use a stash of “cash” (received upon arrival) to get out all the Hollywood secrets and gossip necessary to solve the case.

Only 100 tickets are available. Tickets include heavy hors d’oeuvres and dessert, a drink ticket, a professional photo along the red carpet and a chance to solve the most glamorous murder of all time.

Tickets are available via Eventbrite at egsamurdermysterygala.eventbrite.com.

Those who prefer to pay cash can purchase tickets directly from Claire McBroom. Email her at ccm61@case.edu.

The event is sponsored by MOCA Cleveland, The Greater Cleveland Film Commission, Cleveland International Film Festival, Hilary Bovay Photographer and Bon Appetit Management Co.
