Attend LGBTQA Committee meeting for a discussion on domestic partner benefits

The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Ally (LGBTQA) Committee is seeking new members from the Case Western Reserve University faculty and staff community. Sponsored by Deputy Provost Lynn Singer’s office, the LGBTQA Committee meets monthly to discuss issues of importance to the campus community, and it wants to hear from faculty and staff.

The next meeting will address domestic partner benefits and will be held Thursday, March 17, from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center, Room 204.

In the spring of 2014, the LGBTQA Committee brought a proposal to the faculty senate that sought to provide LGBT faculty and staff representation during discussions of LGBT health care equity. Committee members recently expressed an interest in revisiting this topic, and would like interested faculty and staff members to join them for this conversation.
