Apply to have your student organization supported by the Social Justice Institute

The Social Justice Institute (SJI) recently announced the first cohort of SJI-Supported Student Groups.

These campus organizations have demonstrated a commitment to social justice and will receive support from the institute, including logistical help, assistance securing speakers and planning programs, financial grants for events and honorariums and more.

Students can apply online to have their organizations considered for recognition and inclusion as an SJI-Supported Student Group. If accepted, group representatives will be asked to attend an informational orientation session prior to formal approval.

The following organizations are part of the first cohort of SJI-Supported Student Groups:

  • Advocates for Cleveland Health;
  • American Constitution Society;
  • Design for America;
  • Distressed Children’s & Infants International;
  • Feminist Collective;
  • Global Medical Brigades;
  • National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI on Campus);
  • Radical Student Union;
  • Sexual Assault and Violence Educators; and
  • Science and Human Rights Coalition.
