Cleveland Magazine: Dexter Davis has worked as a security guard at the Cleveland Museum of Art for nearly 20 years, and he also is a contemporary artist whose extremely personal paintings sell for thousands. “Clearly, there’s an internal need that his art is fulfilling, beyond just making a pretty design that you put on the wall,” said Henry Adams, professor of American art.
