Additional time slots added for on-campus biometric screenings in October

Due to strong demand for biometric screenings on campus, the Wellness Program has added 120 more slots in October at Crawford Hall and the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing.

There are 60 more spaces for the event Tuesday, Oct. 10, in Crawford Hall, Room 209, and 60 more for the screenings Tuesday, Oct. 24, in Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing, Room 2280.

Spaces still remain at events in the Tinkham Veale University Center Oct. 18, 19 and 20.

“We are thrilled that so many faculty and staff have already registered for the screening,” Wellness Coordinator Mary Ann Dobbins said. “This is a terrific free opportunity to get a snapshot of your health in just about 10 minutes.”

The biometric screening is one of two activities faculty and staff who choose a Benelect plan through the university are asked to complete this fall. The second activity is submitting the 2018 tobacco attestation form, which can be found by navigating on HCM from: Main Menu – Self-Service – Benefits – Tobacco Attestation Form. Participants should be sure to attest for 2018.

The health risk appraisal, which was the third activity in previous years, is on hold for this fall only.
